The ARC The ARC started in 1953 as the National Association for Retarded Citizens but its roots go back to the 1930's. Over the years the ARC 's cause has embraced all people with special needs. The Arc's legislative center is a non-partisan information and action resource that we could never come close to duplicating. Please visit this link to find out your State and Federal or Local Government representatives, find out about the latest legislation, or find out about elections in your area!
The Arc's Legislative Action Center is made possible by generous support from the One-to-One Wall Street Charities Fund and the Dr. Elizabeth Boggs Fund to help The Arc advance public policy and advocacy in the pursuit of equality and justice.
